Access for every guest
Accessibility statement
New York & Lake Erie Railroad is working to make the digital experience clear, usable, and welcoming.
Last reviewed: October 13, 2026
Our commitment
New York & Lake Erie Railroad aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to improve the experience for guests with disabilities. The site uses semantic HTML, keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus states, descriptive image text, and labels for form fields.
Known experience limitations
The current FAQ states that Gowanda boarding is not wheelchair accessible and that the South Dayton destination is wheelchair accessible. The booking provider is a third-party service and may have limitations outside the railroad’s direct control. Contact the railroad before booking so the team can discuss your specific needs and the event’s meeting point.
